The short answer

InvestIQ is a market events tracker for Indian retail investors. It pulls IPOs (main board and SME), buybacks, OFS, and rights issues into one feed sourced from regulator filings and exchange data. Users see subscription windows, GMP with source provenance, and full event history.

Staying on top of IPOs, buybacks, and OFS events in India means watching multiple apps, broker emails, Telegram groups, and exchange filings. Most are noisy, incomplete, or days behind.

InvestIQ pulls every event into one feed sourced from regulator filings and exchange data. You see what's open, what's closing today, what's coming up, and where the GMP came from. No tab switching. No spreadsheet copy-paste. See how we built InvestIQ or explore our other products.

Why retail investors switch to InvestIQ

The problem isn't a shortage of data. It's that the data lives in 5 different places and arrives at different speeds.

Before InvestIQ
  • I missed an IPO subscription window. Again. The 3-day window closed while I was in meetings. The broker email landed in promotions.
  • The GMP I see on Telegram is hours stale.By the time I act on it, the unofficial premium has moved. I don't know who's quoting it.
  • I'm copy-pasting from 5 sources into a spreadsheet.Chittorgarh for GMP, BSE for filings, Zerodha for status, news sites for context. Every weekend.
  • Buyback and OFS announcements are buried in regulator filings.By the time the financial press covers them, the tender window is half over.
After InvestIQ
  • One feed. Every event. Subscription window flagged.IPOs, buybacks, OFS, and rights issues with open/close dates and a final-day alert.
  • Live GMP with the source named.Aggregated from public dealer quotes with timestamp and source. You decide what to trust.
  • No more spreadsheet. The history is built in.Last 200 IPOs with subscription multiples, listing day gain, and 30-day price. Searchable.
  • Buybacks and OFS surfaced the day they're announced.Pulled from BSE and NSE filings. Acceptance ratio history shown for tender buybacks.
In practice

An InvestIQ user caught a Rs. 18,000 listing gain on a 2024 IPO they'd have missed otherwise. Time spent tracking market events dropped from about 40 minutes a day to 5. Users typically tell us the second number matters more than the first.

What InvestIQ tracks

IPOs, main board and SME. Every public issue on NSE and BSE, with open and close dates, price band, lot size, day-wise subscription multiples (retail, NII, QIB), and listing date. SME IPOs get the same treatment as main board, which most free apps skip.

Buybacks, tender and open market. Both routes. For tender buybacks, you see the buyback price, record date, and acceptance ratio history from the company's last buyback (if any). For open-market buybacks, you see the daily progress until the announced limit is reached.

OFS (offer for sale). Promoter and government OFS events with floor price, retail discount, and allocation logic. Cut-off times for retail get a dedicated alert because they don't follow the regular IPO 5 PM rhythm.

Rights issues. Record date, ratio, premium over CMP, and renounce-able status. Plus the application window, which retail investors miss more often than IPOs.

Grey market premium (GMP). Worth being honest about this one. GMP is unofficial. It's not a regulated quote and trading on it is illegal in spirit. We surface it as a sentiment proxy, aggregated from publicly available dealer quotes, with the source named and the timestamp shown. You see the data. You decide what to do with it.

Where InvestIQ saves you time

Not features. Workflow gaps where retail investors lose track or lose money.

  • 01

    IPO calendar with windows

Open today, closing today, coming this week. Filtered by main board or SME. No clicking through 4 menus.

  • 02

    Live GMP with source

Aggregated dealer quotes with timestamp and source named. Sentiment proxy, treated like one.

  • 03

    Buyback acceptance history

For tender buybacks, the last 2 buyback acceptance ratios for that company. Helps you size your tender.

  • 04

    OFS allocation logic

Floor price, retail discount, T+1 cut-off, and the retail allocation pool. Explained, not buried in legalese.

  • 05

    Alerts that actually fire

24h before close, 12h before close, final-day at noon. Push and email. Tested on real subscription windows.

  • 06

    Last 200 IPOs, searchable

Subscription multiples, listing-day gain, 30-day return. Filter by sector, size, or year. Better than scrolling Chittorgarh.

Why retail investors stay on InvestIQ

Three product decisions we made that the noisy free apps haven't.

  • 01

Data from regulator filings and exchange feeds

Not Telegram scraping. Not news site re-reporting. We pull from BSE, NSE, and SEBI filings directly. Slower to set up. Far more reliable.

  • 02

Subscription window alerts that actually fire

Most apps notify you the IPO opened. We notify you 24 hours before it closes, 12 hours before, and noon on the final day. That's when retail investors actually decide.

  • 03

Full event history, not just today

Last 200 IPOs with subscription and listing data. Buyback acceptance ratios going back 3 cycles per company. The history is where pattern recognition happens.

  • 04

Built for Indian retail, not US institutional

SME IPOs included. OFS allocation logic explained. GMP shown with the honesty it deserves. The defaults are tuned to what an Indian retail investor with 1 to 5 lakh in play actually asks.

Not a fit for

InvestIQ is built for one buyer. If you're outside that, save your time.

  • Institutional traders running custom data feeds. You already pay for Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or NSE's premium feed. InvestIQ doesn't replace those.

  • Pure long-only mutual fund investors. If you don't subscribe to IPOs, don't tender in buybacks, and don't bid in OFS, there's nothing here you need.

  • Non-Indian markets. No US IPOs, no UK AIM listings, no SGX. India only. That's the whole product.

  • People looking for tips. We don't recommend. We don't rate. We don't tell you which IPO to apply to. We show you the data and trust you to decide.

FAQs

No. InvestIQ is a data tracker. We don't rate IPOs, recommend buybacks, or tell you what to subscribe to. We aggregate event data from regulator filings and exchange feeds so you can decide. If you want analyst calls, that's a different product.
Aggregated from publicly available dealer quotes on the unofficial market. We name the source and timestamp every quote. GMP is unofficial by nature and we treat it as a sentiment proxy, not a price. We don't facilitate any grey market trade and we won't pretend the number is something it isn't.
Yes. SME IPOs (NSE Emerge and BSE SME) are tracked the same way as main board, with subscription windows, lot size, and post-listing data. Most free trackers skip these or hide them under a separate menu.
Both tender and open-market buybacks. For tender buybacks you see the price, record date, retail entitlement, and acceptance ratio history for that company's previous buybacks. For open-market, you see daily progress against the announced limit.
Event data (open, close, listing dates, OFS announcements) is live, pulled from BSE and NSE feeds as filings hit. Subscription multiples update through the day during open windows. GMP refreshes through trading hours. Listing-day return and 30-day data settle after the relevant day.
No. InvestIQ is a tracker, not a broker. You can use it to monitor and research events without any Demat account. To actually apply for an IPO, tender in a buyback, or bid in an OFS, you'll use your broker. We don't execute trades.
