What you'll do
Understand product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify testing requirements.
Create detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and checklists.
Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and usability testing across web applications.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
Work closely with developers and Product Managers to investigate and resolve issues.
Perform API testing and validate backend responses, data, and integrations.
Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent user experience.
Participate in requirement discussions and identify potential edge cases and quality risks before development is completed.
Perform regression testing for new releases and ensure existing functionality is not affected.
Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and release workflows.
Support automation initiatives where applicable and identify opportunities to reduce repetitive manual testing.
Take ownership of the quality of features from requirement analysis through release.
What we're looking for
3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing/QA, preferably with web applications.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.
Strong experience with functional and regression testing.
Good understanding of API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
Basic to good understanding of SQL/database testing.
Experience working with bug-tracking and project-management tools such as Jira, Asana, or similar.
Strong attention to detail and an ability to identify edge cases.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful test scenarios.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with developers and product teams.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Good to have
Experience with automation testing using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools.
Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript or another programming language.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
Experience testing SaaS products, APIs, third-party integrations, or AI-powered applications.
Experience with performance, security, or accessibility testing.
