Business Development Executive (Commission-First)

Contractor

The role in one line: You are RaftLabs' face in your region. You open doors, build real relationships, and grow accounts. We back you with a full technical and pre-sales team so you never sell alone.

About RaftLabs: We are an AI, web, and mobile app development and growth partner (founded 2015). We design and build custom software, AI solutions, web and mobile apps, and MVPs for businesses worldwide. Typical projects start at $10k and run well into six figures. Our work includes platforms for UrShipper (multi-carrier shipping), Power NI and Energia (energy), Musgrave (retail), Brux (dental AI), StrikeHoney (field services), and dozens more across the US, UK, Ireland, and beyond.

What you will do

  • Hunt: prospect businesses that need tech help and open new conversations in your region.

  • Farm: stay close to clients and figure out what else they need before they ask anyone else.

  • Run discovery your way, with our team behind you: technical experts join your calls, and pre-sales builds prototypes and proof-of-concepts to help you win.

  • Own the relationship end to end: you are the person the client calls.

What you get

  • A commission-first, uncapped earning structure. Your income scales directly with the deals you bring in, and the bigger the deal, the bigger your cut.

  • Full backing so you never sell alone: technical experts join your calls, our pre-sales team builds prototypes to help you win, plus proposals, case studies, and CRM.

  • The exact structure is something we walk through on a call. It is generous, and it is built to reward closers.

Who you are

  • You have sold services at an agency before: dev, design, digital, tech consulting, anything where businesses buy expertise.

  • Great communicator, comfortable with senior stakeholders, natural relationship builder.

  • Self-starter who would rather eat what they kill than wait for a paycheck.

  • Based in one of the regions above with the right to work there. An existing network is a big plus.

This is not for you if

You need a fixed salary to feel safe. No hard feelings. This just is not that job.

How to apply

Email [email protected] with:

  • Your numbers: quota carried vs achieved over the last 2-3 years, average deal size, typical sales cycle.

  • How much of your pipeline you generated yourself vs what was handed to you.

  • Your biggest win in 4 lines: how you found it, how you won it.

  • An account you grew: landed at $X, expanded to $Y, and how.

  • Who you have sold for, and what they sold.

  • Your stack: CRM and prospecting tools you use.

  • Your region.

If you have never carried a number, this probably is not the role for you.
